My First Year On Twitter

Sometime in June of 2008, at the urging of my techie son @Rad_Nerd , I logged into Twitter and created an account @TPO_Hisself , after which I posted 3 tweets about where I was dining before concluding that nobody really cared. On April 8th, 2009, I took a second look to see what all the talk was about. I discovered #TCOT which is a group of the Top Conservatives On Twitter. I joined immediately, and was at the bottom of a list of 7,552 conservatives trying to find a way to use this tool to make a difference. I enjoyed the #FollowFriday thing designed to show your support to fellow Twitterers, and grow their following. After 2 weeks, I decided... if it was good for Friday, why not extend it? Hence was born #StalkingSaturday (following 2 days in a row, this was a natural), #SpiritualSunday, #MilitaryMonday, #TerifficTuesday, #WildWednesday, and #ThankfulThursday. Over the year, my love list has grown to 262 people that I recognize each and every day... and out of this, grew my 2nd Twitter account, @TPOs_Daily_Love thru which each of them get another hug on a daily basis.

My list of tweets grew to such a point that I needed another account to keep from having to post every 30 seconds in an effort to get all my tweets posted in rotation every few days... from this came my next accounts, @TPO_News, @TPO_Mob_Ties & @I_Am_The_Mob followed by an inspired @Czar_Of_Czarcasm which brought about Czar Of Czarcasm.com. over the coming months, my Twitter Account List grew to 50+ accounts to support my 1,850+ tweets that I broadcast.
In the 52 weeks, my top 5 accounts alone have tweeted 234,400+ tweets and garnered 76,000+ followers - and I value each and every one of them. I watched over the weeks as my following grew and I rose in th #TCOT list to #48th of the 7,000 conservatives here. I am deeply humbled by the thought of all these people actually reading any of my words.
In the early weeks, I had a 2 part tweet:
1. I don't give a rat's ass if you are pro-life or choice, gay or straight, black, white or brown, God fearing or not.
2. If you are for a Strong Military, Smaller Government, Lower taxes, and greater freedoms & liberties, then I want you by my side.
EVERY time that I posted that, the feedback was overwhelmingly supportive. From those two lines grew A BOLD STEP BACK, which is the most profound, most important thing that I have ever written. It is my plan to get the country back on track. Today, there are several of these around, but even now, I have yet to see one that includes such radical ideas as rolling back Congressional pay, and putting Congressmen on the same health care plan as postal workers - afterall, they are all Federal employees.

Over the past year, the American people have awakened
Over the year, middle America, those that were caught off guard by main stream media's failure to report on Obama's 's past, affiliations and beleifs and began to wake up. They saw the cretins, communists, crooks and tax cheats that Obama was surrounding himself with. They sae Michelle Obama taking on twice as many personal assistants as any first lady in history. They saw the deficit double since Obama took office. They saw that Obama has far fewer people with real world business experience in his cabinet than any president in history.
The American people are beginning to learn the difference between the Certification of Live Birth - which obama presented and a real Birth Certificate - which he has spent over $1,000,000 to keep from having to present. They have heard Michelle Obama say in her own words that Kenya is Obama's home country. They are now understanding how Obama got elected.
The people now understand that Obama pledged to create 3.5 million jobs by 2010. I'd say there is a considerable job gap. Then there are the massive numbers of job losses since the Stinulus... And they now realize that just because you voted for him, he's not going to pay for your mortgage or give you Obama cash from his private stash
Theu understand that Obama's whole Harvard professorship is another complete fraud The American people are tired of a president that does not even know how to honor the U.S. Flag.
What sort of a Commander In Chief will send our boys to war, and then say that 'victory is not a goal"
They get upset when the watch the administration's shell game, as they try to follow the bailout cash.
Young people are turning their back on Obama and his change, as they begin to understand Socialism
Even a dog knows better than to accept treats from obama.
Theu see that Obama is monstrously anti-life, and that there are at least seven reasons why Obama cannot be a Christian (since when did he need more than one?)
The people are becoming more aware of Obama, Voter Fraud & Mortgage Meltdown
Americans, left right and midder are LIVID at his constant weakening of the American Security.
They are also disgusted at the thought of a president that needs a teleprompter to talk to 6th graders.
By making noise, we have already achieved a lot!!!
